Artist Walls

When we were brought onto the project team by interior design firm Corso Staicoff, we knew very little about glass as an art form and artistic medium. Nine months later, we were evangelists. The Murano Hotel has twenty-one floors. Each floor is dedicated to a different international glass artist. The etched and painted designs depict the artist's inspiration and creative process. As part of the presentation, a signature example of the artist's work is on display. The walls proved so popular that a docent now gives guided tours to hotel guests and the public.
